Editorial standards & methodology
YewMods is a showcase, and showcases earn trust by being verifiable — every claim about a mod is grounded in what a buyer can observe: product pages, settings menus, and dated changelogs.
Standard 01
Observable behavior only
Entries describe what mods do at the product level — scope, settings design, defaults, update cadence. Implementation details, generation internals, and tuning values are never published, by standing policy.
Standard 02
Editorial, not a storefront
YewMods does not process checkout and does not run affiliate redirects. Product mentions link to the official catalog on yew.gg, and comparison entries state their criteria up front.
Standard 03
Claims scoped to the current patch
Games change weekly. Mod-level claims are tied to maintained products with dated changelogs, and entries get flagged for review when a game update moves the behavior they describe.
Standard 04
Corrections
Incorrect or stale entries are corrected in place with an updated date. Report an error via the contact page.
Editorial content is maintained by YewMods Desk (Mod design editors). See the editorial changelog for a dated history of what changed and when, or report an error.
