§4.2 · Movement
Insta-Stop
Fires a stop input before an off-the-dribble shot. Off / Auto / Left-Trigger. It can cancel fades; yew runs it Off.
01Purpose
Insta-Stop puts a stop input in front of a shot you take off the dribble, so the shot comes from a set position instead of a moving one.
02Control
- Auto
- The stop fires before off-the-dribble shots on its own
- Left-Trigger
- The stop fires only while L2/LT is held
- Menu page
- Insta-Stop (page 8), D-pad Up/Down cycles Off / Auto / Left-Trigger
03Range / Default
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Options | Off / Auto / Left-Trigger |
| Default | Off |
| yew's Sept 3 setting | Off |
04Adjustment
No millisecond value. Pick the mode. If you run fades, the safe mode is Off or Left-Trigger.
05Notes
Insta-Stop can cancel fades. Three fixes, pick one:
- Turn it Off when you are running fades.
- Use Left-Trigger mode so it only fires while L2/LT is held.
- Hold the left stick in the fade direction through the whole animation.
- With Button Rhythm on, insta-stop shots sweep ~10% faster — automatic.
