§6.2 · yewFN
Values and dead zones
Auto-Tracking power 1–20 (start at 6). Enhancement 1–20. Polar Power 1–40 (stay 15–25). Dead zones 0–20, default 5.
01Purpose
Four yewFN settings take a number. This page gives the range, the starting point, and the working band yew states for each.
02Range / Default
| Setting | Range | Start / stay |
|---|---|---|
| Auto-Tracking power | 1–20 | Start at 6 |
| Enhancement | 1–20 | Stacks on top of Auto-Tracking |
| Polar Power | 1–40 | Stay within 15–25; above 30 it jitters |
| Dead zones | 0–20 | Default 5 |
03Adjustment
- Start Auto-Tracking at 6 and move in single steps.
- Enhancement adds to tracking rather than replacing it. Set tracking first, then add Enhancement.
- Keep Polar Power inside 15–25. The range goes to 40, but above 30 the movement jitters.
- Leave dead zones at 5 unless a stick drifts.
